John Howard, son of Henry & Hannah (Sharples) Howard, was born 2/3/1725 and died
10/12/1793, probably Edgmont Twp. At Middletown Friends Mtg. on 2/22/1747 he married
Elizabeth Perry, daughter of Christopher Perry. She was buried 4/1/1790 at Middletown
Friends Mtg. as was her husband. John Howard was a farmer and was taxed on 60 acres of
land in Edgmont in 1764 and with 30 acres there at the time of his death.

Peter, probably died unmarried.
Jane married Benjamin Chance about 1773.
Grace (about 1748-1814), married George Good.
Perry ( - 1812), in April 1793 married Elizabeth Evans (1776-1869).
Mary married Benjamin Worrall.

Of their nine children, son John HOWARD b. Feb. 3, 1725 m. Aug. 22, 1747 to Elizabeth PERRY, dau of Christopher PERRY.

Remainder of said land to heirs of son John, said son to have the rents and profits during his lifetime, except £30 annually for the support of his 2 children, Mary and James.
To daughter Hannah a house and 20 acres of the McGuire tract during life; also interest of £600, with principal to her heirs.
To daughter Mary the interest of £700 during life and principal to her heirs.
To daughter Sarah the interest of £1000 during life and principal to her heirs.
To grandson James H. Bennett £300, to remain in the hands of his father Titus Bennett, until he is 21.
To Jane Chance £20 for faithful attention to me in sickness.
